What it is not
The connector doesn’t generate anything itself. Your AI client writes; Depost AI stores. When you ask Claude for a post, Claude drafts it using your brand voice and strategy, then saves it into Depost AI as a normal draft. That distinction matters for what you should expect: output quality is your client’s, and the grounding — your voice, your numbers, your history — is Depost AI’s.What you can ask for once connected
Analyze
“Show me my impressions and follower growth for the last 30 days. What’s working?”
Find ideas
“Search my content library for my best posts about hiring and turn them into three fresh drafts.”
Write and schedule
“Draft a post about our launch in my brand voice and schedule it for the best open slot this week.”
Compare periods
“How did this month compare to last month?”
What it can reach
Access is granted per key, in nine permissions:
The first four are granted by default. The rest are opt-in — a new key cannot publish to
LinkedIn unless you tick Publishing, which the product itself marks as high risk.
Analytics match the dashboard
Numbers returned through the connector use the same definitions as the Depost AI dashboard: engagement is clicks, reactions, comments, shares and saves; engagement rate is engagement divided by impressions. A figure your AI client quotes will match what you see in Analytics.Related
